Yesterday, we discussed setting personal limits (catch up here if you missed it). Today, let’s focus on values.

Are Your Actions in Line with Your Values?

I recently reflected on my values and how well my actions align with them. Here’s an example from my value of authenticity:

Authenticity

What I’m doing:

  • Building in public

  • Helping others without expecting anything in return

  • Sharing honest thoughts and processes

What I could do better:

  • Be more in tune with my feelings

  • Say no to things that don’t feel right

  • Balance authenticity with openness

Translate Values into Daily Actions

For instance, if your value is health, you might think, “I need to exercise more.” To turn that into a habit, start small: “Stretch every morning when I wake up” or “Put on my running shoes first thing.” Sometimes, just focusing on the first step helps build the momentum to carry on with the rest.

Your Turn
