The importance of having big ass goals
Stumbled upon this Tim Ferriss quote which hit me like a truck:
Personally, I feel like I've been aiming too low lately.
Settling for "good enough" in different areas of my life, when I know I'm capable of more.
Well, reading this re-lit the fire under my ass.
Question for you:
What area of life are you underestimating yourself?
How could you aim higher to give yourself an advantage?
9 underrated books that will change how you see the world- Video from Mark Manson
Yay! Books!
C'mon, who doesn't love a good book recommendation?
The problem is that we're recommended the same 20 books over and over again (yes, Atomic Habits is great, we know).
But this video is different.
Mark does a great job here of choosing some lesser-known books that could potentially blow your mind.
Personally, I bought The Lessons of History by Will and Ariel Durant.
The anti-procrastination hack that works 99% of the time (for me)

I can't think of a single time this has failed me.
Choose a task you've been avoiding.
Set a timer for 10 minutes.
Get started.
If you don't want to continue after 10 minutes, stop.
Simple as that.
I promise, 99% of the time you'll keep going.

Wow.
This thread is a testament to the power of small, gradual lifestyle changes.
You don't have to drastically change your diet.
You don't have to work out for 5 hours per day.
You just need to build a few small healthy habits into your daily life.
TL;DR
Fast (Follow the 5:2 diet—eat normally for 5 days, restrict calories for 2).
Avoid Seed Oils (Avoid vegetable oils; use olive oil, butter, and tallow instead).
Dead Hangs (Hang from a pull-up bar daily to improve posture and strength).
Get a Whoop (Use a Whoop to track sleep and reduce alcohol consumption).
Have a Partner You Want to Look Good For (A health-conscious partner can motivate you).
Cider Vinegar (Take a shot daily to reduce appetite).
Supplements (Try supplements like Tongkat Ali, Fadogia Agrestis, and bee pollen).
Water (Prefer mineral water over tap water).
Exercise (Incorporate daily exercise, mix cardio, stretching, and weights).
Two Meals a Day (Skip breakfast; eat only two meals on non-fasting days).
15 Minutes of Sun (Get morning sunlight to regulate circadian rhythms).
Count Calories (Track calorie intake to improve eating discipline).
Important note:
Don’t try and do all of these at once. Do one, then gradually add others.
